Digital Freight Exchange goes live in India
India’s National Digital Freight Exchange (NDFE), powered by Semi Cab, has now gone live. The platform is an initiative supported by major supply chain players to make India’s transport network more efficient.
NDFE is intended to provide live tracking for every load, achieve real-time compliance from drivers, trucks, and transporters, create collaboration opportunities between transporters and shippers automatically and integrate with TMS systems for automated indenting, visibility, and invoicing.
To orchestrate collaboration between manufacturers, retailers, distributors, and their carriers, the platform uses real-time data from API-based load tendering and pre-built integrations with TMS and ELD partners. (ben)
