Distribution in Paris to become greener
Arcese services are becoming increasingly eco-friendly thanks to the introduction of compressed natural gas vehicles for distribution services in the French capital.
With an engine equipped with 3.0 litre and 136 hp CNG technology, the new daily natural power vehicles provide the same level of performance as the diesel equivalent but with a significant reduction in CO2 emissions of -12% NOx and -76% particulate matter.
With a maximum range of 90 km, the vehicles will primarily be used for deliveries in central Paris. Such a choice is in line with the restrictions imposed by the traffic-restricted environmental area, also known as the ZCR (Zones à Circulation Restreinte). (ben)
