Diversifying in rail infrastructure market
Sinara Transport Machines Holding (STM) has established a new railway infrastructure division, which will focus on the development and provision of various services for the infrastructure of Russian Railways (RZD) and other customers.
Vitaly Votolevsky, STM deputy general director, has been appointed director of the division. The services will be provided using equipment that is produced by the holding’s enterprises or leased from other sources.
The company's specialists are evaluating prospects for developing and manufacturing high-performance track machines that are currently not being produced by STM enterprises. STM plans to provide the first infrastructure services already in 2022. (ben)
