Dokasch opens pharma container station in Atlanta
Dokasch Temperature Solutions has opened a new service station in Atlanta GA (USA), in partnership with Seko Logistics. Operational since May, the facility is located near Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta airport (ATL), a major cargo hub with wide-body capacity and strong links to life science clusters in the USA's southeastern region.
It expands Dokasch’s 'Opticooler' network for time-critical pharmaceutical shipments, enabling rapid deployment of temperature-controlled containers to manufacturers and forwarders.
The Atlanta site also supports the company’s door-to-door delivery services, which provide fully charged 'Opticoolers' directly to a customer’s location, reducing lead times and safeguarding product integrity. Managing director Andreas Seitz said the strategic location "positions containers closer to customers" to enhance reliability and responsiveness in the cold chain, with faster, more sustainable deliveries in all of the Americas.
