Dortmund airport welcomes new managing director
Udo Mager became the new managing director of Dortmund airport (Germany) on 1 July 2013. He replaces Markus Bunk, whose contract expires in September. Mager, who has been head of business development in Dortmund since 2005, was elected to the post of managing director at an extraordinary meeting of the airport’s supervisory board in February. He himself has been a member of that board for seven years. Bunk, who began his managerial task at the airport in 2008, steered it through the economic crisis and managed to reduce the facility's loss to EUR 18.5 million, the lowest since 2003.
