DSV's "Les Vingt"


Just for the beautiful and rich: DSV is investing in a string of 20 automated DSV fulfilment facilities in various regions in Europe, North America and APAC.

 

The aim is to cover all needs of customers of companies across different markets and distribution channels, both B2C and B2B. Besides the necessary equipment for e-commerce, strategic locations are key.

 

Ronald Poort, executive vice president, DSV, referred to a "significant investment". The concept is based on a technology with goods-to-person automated workstations in a plug & play format. The multimillion EUR investment in DSV fulfilment factories will be rolled out in several phases.

 

Already now, four of the twenty automated warehouses are in operation, while an additional six are underway. DSV’s goal is to build all twenty DSV fulfilment factories over the next few years. (sh)
