ECS and Global GSA groups to make an impact in June
The GSSAs ECS Group from Paris, and Global GSA Group from Amsterdam, may be exhibiting seperately at Air Cargo Europe this week, but are set to hold their first joint 'Impact Week' thereafter, from 16 to 20 June, encouraging employee engagement in social and environmental causes.
The initiative is part of their 'Charity Programme', launched in 2023, which offers staff one paid volunteering day per month. A digital platform supports the effort with over 5,000 activities and 11,000 charities worldwide. From youth coaching to humanitarian aid, employees are already active for diverse causes.
Impact Week aims to boost participation, foster community and have a measurable impact, with support from airline partners such as Corsair and Aviation Sans Frontières. The event has been designed to become an annual tradition. (ah)
