E.R. Offshore renews management
Kai Naumann became the new managing director of the Hamburg (Germany)-based specialist shipping company E.R. Offshore GmbH & Cie (E.R. Offshore) this month (October). He is directly responsible for finance and technology, as well as for shore-based and offshore employees. On top of that, Naumann, together with his co-managing director, Ian Perrott, who supervises chartering and marketing activities, is in charge of developing the specialist shipping company with its current fleet of 13 offshore vessels. E.R. Offshore recruited Naumann after the sudden death of its last managing director Uwe Groos. The new boss formerly worked at RWE-DEA Aktiengesellschaft für Mineraloel und Chemie, where he had been senior asset analyst for expanding business in North Africa and the Middle East since 2004. In his position he was CFO of the new RWE subsidiary RWE Offshore Logistics Company GmbH in Hamburg, where he was jointly responsible for developing the firm.
