Europa upgrades sustainability reporting
Europa Worldwide aims to enhance its carbon management and reporting by adopting Blue Yonder’s logistics emissions calculator. The UK logistics services provider has integrated the system in its road freight operations in the UK, Ireland, Belgium and the Netherlands. The tool, accredited by the 'Global Logistics Emissions Council (GLEC) and aligned with ISO 14083, uses modelling to provide emissions data.
Blue Yonder’s API integration with Europa’s transport management system aims to ensure transparent reporting and customers trust, as Europa Worldwide reported. Europa previously relied on in-house reporting methods that lacked detail and accreditation. (js)
