EV Cargo Solutions appoints new operations director
EV Cargo Solutions has named Martin Davies as operations director, a newly created role supporting the company’s transformation strategy. He will oversee managed transport, fleet performance, carrier management, contract logistics and health and safety.
Davies brings long-standing sector experience, having served as commercial and operations director of Fowler Welch, where he delivered sustained growth and led multiple acquisitions, and held senior roles at Bidvest 3663 and Palmer and Harvey.
EV Cargo Solutions operates with a hybrid model, combining its 200 fleet units, 850 trailers and 93,000 sqm of warehouse space with selected third-party carriers. With about 1,000 employees across six locations, the division provides tailored solutions for blue-chip customers in retail, packaging, beverages and industrial sectors, leveraging synergies with EV Cargo Global Forwarding and Palletforce.
