EV route CA–AZ by Greenlane

Greenlane is establishing its second commercial EV charging corridor, linking Southern California to Phoenix, Arizona, via the I-10, aiming to support long-haul electric trucking.

The route builds on the Colton CA site and will add stations in Blythe CA and greater Phoenix. The company Windrose Technology validated the corridor with single-charge hauls of nearly 300 miles to Phoenix and 235 miles to Las Vegas, using its R700 Class 8 truck, achieving a peak charge rate of 772 kW.

Windrose plans to produce 2,000 trucks in 2026 and 10,000 in 2027. Nevoya, an electric carrier, will run pilot operations along the I-10 and the I-15 using Greenlane infrastructure. The Colton hub offers more than 40 high-speed chargers, amenities, security and operational support for medium- and heavy-duty fleets. (js)
