Expanding Europe–Asia links via Saudi Arabia
Saudia Cargo and China Cargo Airlines have signed a strategic partnership to strengthen airfreight connectivity between Asia, the Middle East and Europe.
Key features include increased flight frequencies between Riyadh and Shanghai and the launch of a direct route from Riyadh to Budapest – a first for Saudia Cargo. The agreement also includes advanced cold chain services and road freight integration, supporting supply chain efficiency and growth.
CEO Loay Mashabi (on the right) highlighted the deal as "a pivotal moment" contributing to Saudi Arabia’s goal of becoming a global logistics hub. The collaboration builds on an mou signed earlier this year, deepening ties between the carriers. (ah)
