Fiata begins to reshuffle presidency

Fiata, the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations, reports changes in its presidency. Robert Keen (photo) has been elected secretary general, thus replacing Robert A. Voltmann, who has held the position since 2015.

Keen joined the British International Freight Association (Bifa) in 1999 and became its director general in 2014. He has been chair of Fiata’s multimodal transport institute and a member of Fiata’s extended board for several years.

Keen has been replaced as chair of the former by Mark Bromley from Allways International Freight Forwarding, whilst DHL's Steve Parker has been re-elected as chair of Fiata’s customs affairs institute.

Meanwhile, John Stubbings from Woodland Group continues as a delegate to Fiata’s advisory body legal matters. Bromley, Parker and Stubbings are all past chairs of Bifa and continue to service as directors on the Bifa board. (ah)
