First Asian airline joins new cargo e-booking platform
Japanese all-cargo carrier Nippon Cargo Airlines (NCA) and the air cargo e-booking platform Cargo One have entered into a partnership that will enable freight forwarders to book NCA’s main deck capacities with instant confirmation 24/7.
Offering its capacities for booking on Cargo One will allow NCA reduce manual distribution efforts and to expand its reach into the European market by gaining access to the platform's user base of 300+ freight forwarding companies.
Satoshi Shimura (left, with Cargo One managing director Moritz Claussen), NCA VP, general manager and head of business digitalisation: "Cargo One has proven to be a reliable, innovative and fast-moving partner to a growing number of airlines and we are happy to take the lead as the first Asian carrier to join the platform."
