First North American airline on e-booking platform

Having raised over USD 60 million in two funding rounds in 2020 to support its expansion, with North America as a key focus, cargo.one has signed a letter of intent with Air Canada to offer its cargo capacity on the German air cargo booking platform.

Jason Berry, VP cargo at Air Canada, which is expecting to take over two full freighters later this year: "This will enable us to deliver on our customer promise of providing easy and reliable booking access to our growing capacities and help us to further develop our digital distribution capabilities."

cargo.one co-founder and managing director Moritz Claussen: "Given the current capacity constraints out of Europe to North America, our growing user base will now have additional real-time access to much sought-after space at the click of a button." (ah)
