For more cocoa from Côte d'Ivoire

The French Group Bolloré Transport & Logistics Côte d’Ivoire built a new cocoa loading station in 2021. Located in the port area of San Pedro, in the south-west of Côte d'Ivoire, the facility was inaugurated on 13 May 2022.

This automated infrastructure will speed up loading operations and simplify the export process for bulk cocoa beans, thus increasing the competitiveness of the port of San Pedro, which is one of the world’s major cocoa export ports.

Thanks to an investment of one billion CFA francs, this new loading station will also enable Bolloré Transport & Logistics to increase its volumes of cocoa by 30 to 50% at this logistics base. In particular, it will make Côte d’Ivoire even more attractive as the world's largest cocoa producer with over 2 million t. (sh)
