Forto appoints Caiti as country manager Italy
Digital freight forwarder Forto has named Matteo Caiti as its new country manager for Italy, marking the next step in its Southern European growth strategy. The announcement was made during a customer event in Milan, where Forto presented its digital and AI-driven logistics platform "Ship by Forto".
Caiti, who brings over 15 years of experience from senior roles at Kühne + Nagel, will focus on expanding Forto’s presence in the Italian market through greater process efficiency, technology integration and service quality. CEO Guillaume Petit-Perrin said Italy is a strategic growth market where Forto aims to combine operational excellence with digital innovation to simplify and strengthen international transport for local businesses.
