Forto launches AI platform 'FortoLabs'
Forto has launched 'FortoLabs', a platform providing AI-powered Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions for the logistics sector. Building on agent-based AI technologies developed within Forto’s own operations, FortoLabs aims to enhance productivity, accuracy, and resilience across global supply chains. The first product, 'LumoDoc', automates document processing by categorising, extracting, and structuring logistics data from emails or APIs, achieving efficiency gains of up to 90% according to Forto.
Supporting all major logistics documents, from invoices to customs forms, LumoDoc is now available to logistics software providers, carriers, customs agents, and shippers of all sizes. Additional SaaS solutions are in development, all trained on logistics-specific datasets aiming to deliver high performance from day one without complex setup. (js)
