Four freight Dreamliners in Stuttgart today

Cargo instead of holidaymakers: B787 of TUI Airways, TUI Netherlands or TUI Belgium have been flying to Stuttgart airport (STR) in southwest Germany for several weeks now. The cabin remains empty to provide space for around 40 t of cargo on board.

According to the current flight plan, today, Thursday, 14 January 2021, four Dreamliners will be loaded and unloaded at the airport's cargo depot: three B787-9 operated by TUI and a British Airways B787-10.

Cargo aircraft are scheduled to depart daily from Stuttgart airport until the end of January. They are headed for Atlanta and Detroit (USA) and Guadalajara (Mexiko), carrying mainly goods from the automotive and mechanical engineering sector, industries that are deeply entrenched both in Baden-Wuerttemberg as in the destinations in North and Central America.
