Frachet and Sunde to head SAE supervisory board
System Alliance Europe, which says it is Europe’s largest groupage cooperation, has appointed Cédric Frachet, the COO of the Heppner Group, as the new chairman of its supervisory board. Frachet, the previous deputy chairman, succeeded Walter Konzett, of Gebrüder Weiss, who’ll also remain on the board.
Jan Sunde, the managing director of Freja in Denmark and a board member since 2023, has been elected as Frachet’s new deputy. Both mandates will run for two years from 1 July 2025.
System Alliance Europe is a cooperative of 56 medium-sized logistics providers operating in 33 countries. Founded in 2005, the network is headquartered in Düsseldorf and unites around 46,000 employees in 170 branch offices. In 2024, SAE handled roughly 3 million consignments, maintaining its stable year-on-year volumes. The network’s CEO is Tassilo Schneider. (gy)
