From TSC to Scoular Global Shipping
USA-based Scoular has knighted its freight forwarding business with its own brand name: Scoular Global Shipping. Scoular has been operating a freight forwarding business, previously known as TSC Container Freight, for over two decades.
“Scoular’s shipping business has long handled ocean freight for customers worldwide, coordinating all of the logistics required to move customers’ products to destinations around the globe,” said Dave Briggs, general manager for Scoular Global Shipping.
The freight forwarder and non-vessel operating common carrier (NVOCC) manages risk for customers in the ocean container supply chain, partnering with all major ocean carriers and covering services including freight forwarding, transloading/cross docking, domestic transport, and marine cargo insurance.
The holding company Scoular, headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska, has annual revenues of USD 9 billion, a workforce of 1,000 employees and is currently ranked as the 68th largest private company in USA. (sh)
