Garbe Industrial Real Estate acquires property in Bavaria

Garbe Industrial Real Estate has acquired a 34,000 sqm undeveloped property in Wörth an der Isar (Bavaria, Germany). A multi-user property with a total rentable area of 14,500 sqm is to be built on this plot. "Both the location and the planned construction allow for various possible uses," says Jan Dietrich Hempel, managing director of Garbe Industrial Real Estate.

"Our aim is to let the hall, which can be divided into smaller units, to medium-sized companies from the industrial, manufacturing and commercial sectors." The new building is also suitable for regional companies wishing to relocate or expand. The Hamburg-based project developer has bought the property without firm rent commitments.

"The Munich metropolitan region is one of the most successful economic regions in Europe. The demand for rentable logistics and commercial real estate space is correspondingly high," says Hempel. The project developer is already discussing proposals with the first interested parties. The hall equipment can be tailored to meet the requirements of potential customers. (mw)
