General cargo service for Balkan and Baltic states

PKP Cargo Connect (PKPCC) is introducing a road haulage network for general cargo (groupage freight) linking the Baltic and the Balkans.

From January, pallet handling will be available for the smallest orders which opens up new opportunities for single load volumes when shipping worldwide, the subsidiary of PKP Cargo Group said.

General cargo will be handled in two major hubs - Vilnius in Lithuania and Budapest in Hungary - before being dispatched to end customers. Two handling terminals will be deployed in Poland (Gliwice, Warsaw).

Sending general cargo in Lithuania, Poland and Hungary will take three days and cargo deliveries to Latvia, Estonia, Croatia, Slovenia and Serbia will take four days to arrive. (ben)
