Geodis and the locus standi
Locus Robotics will deploy 1,000 Locus Bots to Geodis warehouses around the world. The units will be autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) for fulfilment purposes. The distribution will take place over the next 24 months.
Geodis currently uses Locus AMRs at 14 sites globally, serving a range of retail and consumer brands, including warehouses in USA and Europe. The agreement will expand that footprint significantly as new sites are deployed. The companies first began working together in 2018 at an Indiana site in USA. (sh)
