Geodis expands infrastructure in Poland
Geodis is significantly growing its footprint in Poland through new leases with Segro, enhancing support to customers across Europe. The expansion includes nearly 5,500 sqm at Segro Logistics Park Wrocław, Biskupice, for a major European food producer, and an additional 4,000 sqm at Segro Logistics Park Stryków, strengthening its presence in Central Poland. These developments allow Geodis to offer more flexible and reliable supply chain solutions across sectors like automotive, FMCG, retail and healthcare. The strategically located warehouses with excellent motorway access serve as vital hubs for domestic and international logistics, especially facilitating transit between Western, Central and Eastern Europe.
Bogdan Młynarczyk, GM of Geodis Poland, highlights that these investments are vital for future-ready logistics, enabling the company to meet increasing customer demands and reinforce its regional position. The expansion also boosts employment, with current staffing exceeding 1,000 and the new facilities expected to create additional jobs across warehousing and logistics support, contributing to regional economic growth.
