German SME in a good shape
The German Schuon Group has presented its corporate results for 2022, in which it records a turnover of around EUR 92 million. Both the transport and contract logistics divisions showed a positive trend. Transport and forwarding services for large-volume goods from insulation, packaging and automotive manufacturers were again the company’s strongest business segments in terms of turnover last year.
With a total of 340 vehicles in operation, around 120,000 transport consignments were handled in Europe, covering more than 35,800,000 km.
In the contract logistics segment, Schuon was able to achieve almost a quarter of the total turnover with a managed logistics area of now around 112,000 sqm. By using photovoltaic systems, the Schuon Group was able to save around 9,430 t of CO2 emissions. (sh)
