Global GSA Group appoints Aytekin Saray as CEO

The Global GSA Group has appointed Aytekin Saray as CEO, marking a strategic step in its 30th anniversary year.

Saray began his airfreight career in 1996 and joined the group in 2000. He has since held key roles, including CCO and managing director for Central Europe, and helped drive the company’s growth.

Chairman Ismail Durmaz praised his strategic vision and long-standing commitment. The move follows the appointment of Zafer Aggunduz as CCO and a partnership with CargoTech to boost digital capabilities.

Saray aims to further strengthen the group’s agility, innovation and customer focus. As he takes the helm, Boris Blagojevic will become managing director of Mondial Airline Services, overseeing Germany, Austria and Eastern Europe. The group sees leadership change as a driving force for continued growth and transformation in the evolving cargo market. (ah)
