Going green in Doncaster

Woodland Group has installed solar panels at its hub in Doncaster, covering over 60% of its electricity needs at the site.

Working with its customer, Who Gives A Crap, the group has aimed to expand the use of green energy for its network in the UK. At the site in Doncaster, more than 500 panels have been installed over the past six months. Woodland Group expects to save 155 t of CO2e emissions per year with this project.

The supply chain company aims to switch to 100% renewable energy by 2030, by promoting sustainable transport, installing EV chargers, and ensuring efficient operations. In addition to these initiatives, it is now powering 100% of its data centres with renewable energy.
