Good catch for BBC Chartering
A respectably-sized contract has been signed by the Japanese company Toyo Engineering Corporation and BBC Chartering. Inked in 2015, the agreement covers more than 400,000 frt of project and heavylift cargo volumes to be moved globally for four major projects this year and next.
Toyo specializes in energy, including gas and new types of energy such as LNG and DME, as well as in engineering, procurement and construction of oil refinery, petrochemical and general chemical plants. Svend Anderson, CEO of BBC Chartering, emphasized the significance of the deal and the client, by saying, "Toyo´s achievements are highly regarded by oil majors and chemical companies around the world."
BBC Chartering, founded in 1997 and headquartered in Leer (Germany), offers global transport services for general, breakbulk, heavylift, and project cargo. Some 40% out of 150 project carriers in BBC Chartering’s fleet offer a lifting capacity of 500 t or more.
