Green fleet keeps growing

Hoyer is gradually adding more and more LGN tractor units and CNG trucks to its fleet. The latest addition was a CNG truck in the middle of August to be used for short distance transports in the greater Hamburg area.

The specialist for mineral oil logistics is currently using 25 gas-powered vehicles: 12 LNG and 13 CNG trucks. The company also has a fleet of electric forklift trucks.

Trucks powered by natural gas are currently being deployed for transporting gas and mineral oil. While LNG is used for high performance traction units, most of the CNG vehicles are vans of up to 7.5 t. Hoyer plans to also invest in hydrogen vehicles in the future. (ben)
