GT USA celebrating ten years at Port Canaveral
GT USA, a subsidiary of Gulftainer, a port and terminal operator and logistics solutions provider from Sharjah (UAE), is marking ten years of operations at Port Canaveral FL (USA).
Since launching the ‘Canaveral Cargo Terminal’ in 2015 the company has handled over 1.35 million t of cargo, including lumber, containerised freight, vehicles as well as recovered aerospace materials. The terminal plays a growing role in military and space logistics, supporting partners like SpaceX and Blue Origin.
Recent years have seen major investments in warehouse infrastructure and digital systems, boosting capacity and operational safety.
GT USA’s strategic partnerships with global carriers connect Florida to trade routes to and from Europe, the Americas and Africa.
Group CEO Farid Belbouab highlighted the company's long-term commitment to innovation and local growth. Looking ahead, GT USA plans further expansion to support space exploration, trade and economic development. (gy)
