GXO appoints new COO
GXO Logistics has appointed Bart Beeks (pictured) as chief operating officer in a newly created role, effective 2 January 2026. Reporting to chief executive Patrick Kelleher, Beeks will be responsible for driving global operational excellence through standardised execution across GXO’s worldwide network. Kelleher said the appointment strengthens GXO’s operating model and supports productivity, efficiency and customer value.
Beeks joins GXO from CEVA Logistics, where he progressed from intern to chief operating officer, overseeing operations in more than 170 countries. His previous roles at CEVA included executive vice-president Benelux and senior vice-president operational excellence. Before entering the logistics sector, Beeks served as a commanding officer in the Dutch special forces.
