Haropa and Pointe-Noire join forces
On the occasion of the official visit of Congolese president Denis Sassou Nguesso to Paris, Haropa Port and the Autonomous Port of Pointe-Noire (PAPN) signed a strategic cooperation agreement on 23 May 2025. The deal aims to strengthen ties between the two Atlantic maritime hubs.
The partnership focuses on governance, digitalisation and environmental standards, as well as technical training, logistical corridor efficiency and support for Pointe-Noire’s transformation into a key regional gateway.
It builds on the momentum of a forum held in Paris in 2024 and reflects PAPN’s ambition to further integrate into global logistics chains. The agreement was signed in the presence of institutional and diplomatic representatives, underlining the shared vision for long-term collaboration. (ah)
