At South Carolina Ports, the Wando Welch Terminal recently processed 4,474 containers from the ‘Zim Mount Olympus’ vessel, one of the highest move counts at the port. The terminal also serviced the 15,286-teu ‘MSC Kayley’, one of the largest container ships to visit the port of Charleston.

SC Ports maintained quick truck turn times and managed 6,000 daily gate transactions. In February, the port handled 202,349 teu, with loaded import teu increasing by 11% compared to the previous year.

The inland ports of Greer and Dillon saw notable increases in rail moves, contributing to a 34% growth in the fiscal year-to-date. The vehicle segment posted a 16% growth in fiscal year 2024, handling 144,415 vehicles.
