Highest accolade for DHL Group

The market capitalisation of EUR 24 billion in 2021 clinched the deal. Deutsche Post DHL Group will be the first logistics company to join STOXX Europe.

Qontigo, the financial market services provider and subsidiary of Deutsche Börse, informed that the shares of Deutsche Post will be listed in the European blue-chip index STOXX Europe 50 with effect from 20 September 2021. Currently, the group is the only logistics service provider in Europe's mixed-currency index.

STOXX Europe 50 consists of the fifty most valuable listed companies in Europe. The index was established in 1998 and is regarded as an important indicator of the performance of the European stock market. The members' list is reviewed annually.

After shares of Deutsche Post traded at an issue price of EUR 21.00 at the time of its IPO around 21 years ago and succeeded in moving up to the EURO STOXX 50 eight years ago, the share price has now risen to EUR 59.58 (closing price as of 31 August 2021). (sh)
