Hong Kong's airport authority picks executive director


The airport authority Hong Kong (AA) has appointed Vivian Cheung executive director, airport operations. She succeeds Ng Chi-kee, who will retire. Reporting to the AA’s CEO, Fred Lam, Cheung will be a key member of the senior management team.

 

She will lead the airport management division to oversee airport operations and aviation development, working closely with the airport community to support the development of Hong Kong International Airport. She was appointed deputy director, airport operations in 2014 and deputy director, aviation development in 2018.

 

Cheung is currently a director of the Hong Kong – Zhuhai Airport Management Company and vice chairman of the Shanghai - Hong Kong Airport Management Company. She holds a master degree in business administration from Southern Illinois University and a bachelor degree in computer science from the State University of New York. (mw)
