Humanitarian air bridge for flood victims

Since last Friday, 2 September 2022, Emirates has been offering cargo capacity on all its 53 weekly passenger flights to Pakistan for organisations based at the world’s largest humanitarian hub, International Humanitarian City (IHC), to transport critical equipment and supplies, food and other emergency relief goods directly to the following five airports: Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar, and Sialkot

Emirates Skycargo is setting up an air bridge between Dubai and Pakistan to offer cargo capacity free of charge on flights to transport relief aid to people grappling with the damage caused by the devastating floods.

Heavy rainfall since 14 June has caused catastrophic flash flooding across the country, tragically leaving more than 1,500 people dead and millions homeless. (ah
