IAG Cargo climbs on Cargo Ai platform

IAG Cargo, the cargo division of International Airlines Group (IAG) is joining the Cargo Ai platform. The listing on the artificial intelligence-enabled airfreight platform for freight forwarders and airlines means that forwarders will be able to easily book cargo capacity to hundreds of destinations across the world in the IAG Cargo network accessing the freight capacity on IAG Cargo’s sister airlines: British Airways, Iberia, Aer Lingus, Vueling, and Level.

IAG Cargo CCO John Cheetham: "In today’s digital world, there’s no such thing as business hours with customers increasingly wanting the option of booking online, any time, from anywhere, to any destination on our network. We’re always looking for fresh and innovative products to support customers such as Cargo Ai, a powerful yet simple e-booking tool."

Don't miss the exclusive interview with David Lara, the newest member of Cargo Ai's advisory board, and the company's CEO Matthieu Petot, published in our next edition, ITJ 39-40/2021, out 24 September! (ah)
