IBC takeover in France and Spain
Hoyer has acquired the intermediate bulk container (IBC) logistics operations of the French company Trans Modal Partenaires (TMP), thus strengthening its presence in European markets.
The deal includes all IBCs managed by TMP in France and Spain, along with the related services. Hoyer will integrate these into its existing portfolio, which includes IBC fleet management, rental, transport, cleaning, maintenance and repair.
Marlen Blechschmidt, the director for IBC logistics at Hoyer, expects TMP’s position in the food and cosmetics sectors to support Hoyer’s strategic growth in the region and enhance service offerings for existing and new customers. The acquisition is effective retroactively from 1 May 2025. (js)
