Iberia and Italy have a new land and sea service
XPO Logistics has launched a new land and sea transport service between the Iberian Peninsula and Italy, managing daily freight flows outbound and inbound between the ports of Barcelona and Valencia (Spain) and Savona (Italy).
XPO moves goods by trailer from their place of origin to the port, and once the freight arrives via short sea crossing, the company transports it from the port to its destination. The final stage can be last-mile delivery or distribution to customer facilities, creating a flexible end-to-end solution.
XPO introduced a road and rail transport service between the Iberian Peninsula and UK in July this year. (ben)
