Industry leaders honoured in London
Logistics UK has announced the winners of the "Logistics Awards 2025" at a gala dinner held on 11 December at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge in London. Now in its ninth year, the awards recognise companies and individuals that have made notable contributions to the logistics and supply industry over the past twelve months. Winners represented all transport modes, including road, rail, sea and air. Award recipients included the Port of Dover, Woodland Logistics, GXO, Glasgow Prestwick Airport and DP World.
The judges named two "Rising Stars of the Year" – Beth Baxter of Swain Container Solutions and Elliott Lancaster of Omnes Global – due to the strength of nominations. Malcolm Wilson, former CEO of GXO Logistics, received the "Lifetime Achievement Award", while John Trenchard of DP World was named "Logistics Leader of the Year."
