Intermodal operator expands Scandinavian network

Kombiverkehr will launch TT-Line, a direct train link within Sweden between Trelleborg and Hallsberg. On 5 November 2019, the direct train will start in Trelleborg with three departures per week and direction with links to the TT-Line ferries from Trelleborg to Germany (Lübeck Skandinavienkai, Rostock sea port) and Poland (Świnoujście). The train will complete the 510 km long journey in about eight hours.

As from the beginning of 2020 the company plans to raise the number of round trips to five per week. With the new train project, the Frankfurt (Germany)-based company will expand its intermodal services within Europe to 172 train departures per week. (ben)
