Interporto Bologna's vision for the future
At the Transport Logistic trade fair in Munich, Interporto Bologna presented its role in a 2025–2035 strategic manifesto for railfreight opereations.
President Stefano Caliandro highlighted expansion plans, including upgraded rail infrastructure, new gantry cranes and a secure truck park.
An energy community project is set to produce up to 40 MW of renewable power. Bologna’s logistics hub aims to reach zero emissions by 2050, supported by a strong partnership with the port of Ravenna and a commitment to ethical logistics, according to Caliandro. (js)
