Intra-regional acquisition with European perspective
The German company Acito Logistics has taken over the business activities of Freiburg-based Logistik und Transport International GmbH as of 1 July 2025. The acquisition strengthens Acito’s regional footprint in southwest Germany and expands its service portfolio across Europe.
All existing workflows and locations will continue seamlessly under the Acito umbrella. "It was important to me to hand over to a company that shares our values and has the vision to develop our services further," said former owner Hermann Bürgin (second from the right), who will remain on board in an advisory role to support the transition.
Acito, founded in 2014 and based in Weil am Rhein and Efringen-Kirchen, between Basel and Freiburg, offers transport, warehousing, sea and airfreight, and customs services. With the acquisition, the company gains access to a strong regional network of on-site logistics personnel and two-person delivery teams, enhancing its capabilities in project logistics and customised supply chain solutions.
