Jakhar named Allcargo Logistics CFO
On 19 May Allcargo Logistics named Ravi Jakhar as its group chief financial officer and director of strategy.
He succeeded Deepal Shah and will now lead global finance and strategy functions in the group. Jakhar previously served as chief strategy officer and has played a key role in M&A, equity fundraising, investor relations and the group’s international expansion. He has overseen operations in Latin America, Scandinavia, Turkey, Thailand and Peru and led the acquisitions of Nordicon and FairTrade.
Jakhar also drove the group’s demerger into Allcargo Terminals and TransIndia Real Estate. He also has a seat on the boards of Gati, Allcargo Supply Chain and various subsidiaries, bringing financial acumen, global oversight and governance expertise to his new role. (ah)
