Jan de Rijk augments fleet

Dutch company Jan de Rijk Logistics, with headquarters in Roosendaal, is enhancing its fleet. Daniel Uijtdewillegen, its director for international transport, recently received the keys of the first batch of new trucks from Johan Claassen, sales manager with TB Bastianen.

The delivery of the first eight DAF trucks is part of a larger investment programme to substantially expand Jan de Rijk’s road feeder capacity.

Daniel Uijtdewillegen: “So far, the strong demand for capacity this year proves our point and makes these keys part of our key to success.” The trucks are equipped with Euro 6 MX 11, 450 hp engines. (sh)
