Jeld-Wen secures final unit at PLP's Sheffield facility
PLP has announced the full occupancy of its Bessemer Park logistics development in Sheffield (Yorkshire, England), with global door manufacturer Jeld-Wen UK leasing the final 294,000 sqft unit.
The new site will support Jeld-Wen’s UK growth and improve operational efficiency in a modern, sustainable facility.
The lease concludes a series of lettings to blue-chip tenants by PLP, including ITM Power and Forgefix, reflecting Sheffield’s strong position as an industrial centre with skilled labour and excellent infrastructure.
Bessemer Park, built to the UK Green Building Council’s ‘carbon net zero’ standard, transformed a former brownfield steelworks into a hub for advanced manufacturing and logistics. PLP’s redevelopment has been lauded as a flagship project combining regeneration, sustainability and economic growth.
