Jens Schmeidler elected COO of HGK Logistics
HGK Logistics and Intermodal has announced the following changes in its management team: Jens Schmeidler will take over the role of chief operating officer (COO) from 1 February 2024, succeeding Andreas Grzib. The former chief administrative officer Jan Zeese (CAO) is leaving the company by mutual agreement.
Schmeidler has many years of experience as a manager in the retail, transport and logistics sectors. In his career to date, he has held various management positions at Hellmann, Deutsche Post DHL and Hermes Fulfilment, among others, as well as managing director and board member at Meyer & Meyer.
Schmeidler is now moving to the HGK Group from his current position as authorised signatory and group division manager retail services & fulfilment at the retail cooperation ANWR Group. (cj)
