Jonathan Rayner appointed CCO at Peel Ports Group
Peel Ports Group has appointed Jonathan Rayner as its chief commercial officer, enhancing its executive team in line with its long-term growth strategy. Jonathan joins from London Luton airport, where he held the same position since 2020, bringing extensive experience from various senior roles in UK airports and infrastructure organisations. In his new role, he will join the executive board and oversee the company's commercial strategy, aiming to drive growth across all markets.
This appointment comes as Stephen Carr steps down from his role as group commercial director but will remain with the company part-time as director of public affairs, supporting national policy-maker engagement. CEO Claudio Veritiero welcomed Jonathan, noting his valuable expertise in reshaping commercial strategies. Rayner expressed enthusiasm for joining Peel Ports, emphasising the potential for growth and collaboration in shaping the company's future commercial performance. Carr reflected on his rewarding experience at Peel Ports, highlighting the importance of ports to the economy and regional communities.
