Judd joins Astral Aviation
The Kenyan cargo carrier Astral Aviation has appointed Darryl Judd (centre) as executive director and chief strategy & transformation officer (CSTO), based in Dubai (UAE). He will lead the carrier’s shift from mainly charter to a disciplined scheduled-network model connecting Africa, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific. CEO Sanjeev Gadhia (left) said Judd’s mandate is to "keep the customer at the centre and hard-wire operational discipline into how we operate."
A former airline and logistics executive at Ansett, AWAS, Maersk, and Logistics Executive Group, Judd brings over 30 years of experience in fleet planning, governance and performance management. His appointment supports Astral’s ongoing fleet modernisation and expansion of interline partnerships across Dubai, Nairobi, Johannesburg and Hong Kong. (ah)
